For the calibration could it be concave raise/lower for selecting the concave and the header up/down to zero it. Hope harvest goes well for you whith no trouble 👍
Need parts...try SPS Parts....he's got loads of Axial Flow parts....at sensible prices. I used to run a 5088 great machine.
So long as you're bearings are good is the main thing and keep a supply of of fire extinguishers handy. I wish you well for harvest.
Do you need engine running Lewis? Purely a guess as I've no affiliation to combines at all.
Hi Lewis 🤞for harvest Thanks again
Small beginnings, start with Little Owls and work up through the species to an Egal Owl.😊
Obviously farmers are responsible for the dwindling amount of wildlife in the countryside!! NOT!! Great to see the owls - just need David Attenborough or Bill Oddy to do a bit of commentary. 😂
Felt like a right Twit for a while but then there was twoo .. 🙄🤣 Nice capturing this.. we have a lot of hawks or kites flying about just now trying to get a good picture is a pain in the toolbox.. 😮.. stay safe 🏴
If we capture anything else of interest I'll put it up. Just thought it was nice to show off another part of the countryside
Nice look round the Plough Lewis Mark & Philip Thanks again
Although I have never done any ploughing because I live in an area of North Yorkshire that is all livestock farming and not being born onto a farm I am fascinated by ploughing. I have worked on farms but again, only livestock farms and today do welding repairs and occassional farm work amongst plant and vehicle welding repairs. I follow quite a few farming channels and I watched a video of a chap in Ireland ploughing a field for reseeding with a grass ley. What plough did he have a four furrow Kvernland and it was being pulled with a John Deere 6R 215. And I thought to myself, that looks a tad ridiculous on the back of that tractor, it should be a six furrow to get more efficiency out of the job. And then your video pops up and we have a John Deere of half the rated horsepower pulling virtually the same plough. A reason to subscribe because of the great way you guys explain the set up. I have to say, the tractor looks just big enough to handle the plough but makes it look easy and on what looks to be brilliant soil!
More farmers seem to be returning to ploughing. Fantastic plough - noted small tractor - dammit now I'm forced to remove my 2 furrow reversible plough sat on the back of my John Deere 7280R boosted to 310hp....bugger!!!
well he is pulling it ok.
Nice video, i used to pull a 4f KV plough with a JD 2850, no problem to it. The HP some guys need these days is laughable
Interesting stuff! 100hp tractor on 4 furrow plough seems to be the ultimate in efficiency if not ultimate output. 200hp tractors don’t manage 8 furrows and 300hp ones certainly don’t pull 12!!
What model is the plough, thinking of buying a 4furrow ED 85 for my class 110hp tractor!
at last a farmer who doesn't need a fendt 1050 on a haybob.
Exactly, it’s diabolical lol, l commented on a video once about the very same thing and response was that it was the only tractor spare that they had with air con, fair enough but as we all know, most larger farmers have got rid of their small tractors.
Bring back small tractors!!!!
Hi Lewis & Mark Nice one big plough small tractor👍👍 Thanks again
Thanks 👍
Did you pre emerge as well ? If you did what did you use?
We did but I don't recall. Maybe dad will comment you the reply
Crops look good and the saying is 8 weeks from earring to shearing so you’ve got plenty of time to grease the new combine up before harvest!😂
New grease tube have arrived. Now waiting on chains and belts
Sweet and I guessed before you said. Makes sense as you can cut when you want to. I've heard good things of case and that they have less moving parts. Pleased for you. Compact as well.
Yeah less moving parts should be a joy to repair but plenty of electronics. We will wait and see 👀
Thought it was Massey Ferguson 780 Special at first glance 🤔😁
I've double taken the colour a few times 😆
Price
Not available
Look forward to more combine videos
Now doing some repairs. Stay tuned!
Can feel your excitement in getting a combine looks a great addition - how’s the sugar beet coming along ?was looking forward to some drilling videos as well .
Drilling video coming soon but sugar beet never happened. Contracts were not available 😢
@@NorfolkFords that’s not good no contracts for sugar beet hopefully you’ll get a contract for 2025
Hi Lewis Very nice Thanks again
Glad you enjoyed it
Think you have watched " Harry's Farm " on UA-cam and then bought a Big Case. Next you will have a barn full of V12 Super Cars. Lol😊😅😊 Seriously enjoy it and hope it pays for itself. 😊 Good luck.
Change super cars for more tractors and you'd be right! 😆 Really enjoy Harry's farm though. He gives such great information out
glad you enjoyed your trip up to yorkshire😊
Looks a treat mate , just needs painting yellow 😂😉 shame you ent close by we could have had a retro combine picture NH & IH next to each other !
That is an idea. I will remake one of the photos from the brochure with the tm instead of a case. Will be cool
Bloody awful music
Yes we have chatted about how poor the music is and also how loud
It was originally the Wurzels but copyright stopped that fun 😔
Bloody Awesome buddy that is a great machine and my local Farmer has had many great years from his Case 👏👏👏👏👏
Case power!!!!!
Embarrassingly; I operated MFs for many years as the child of a dairy farmer and never fully understood the two lever system.. Great video.
Cheers!
I think you are mis-managing the site
Please explain
La unica solucion es cambiarlos??
Yeah they are cheap parts. Once broken no good. Can't get the smaller parts inside
They took the back break out of many farm hole digging jobs. Mostly gate post holes, back in the dark ages. Lol. Awesome! And vety usefull tractor attachment.
You got that right! Thanks for the comment
It's a Macconall power arm 44. Very popular and very good back on the day
What a worthless video
Классный погрузчик! Жаль в Россию не завезли😂
How many kw?
1 mw
Finally, could you film the next step please. Awsome equipment. Are you in the old country?
The other steps are on the channel. Might not have called it part 2
It all came from the Patented invention of Harry Ferguson. The three point Hitch, otherwise known as the Ferguson System, was the start of it all. Most all of the Tractor Manufacturers, except Ford, waited for the Patent to expire in 1956. However, They seemingly didn’t want to acknowledge its origin, rather They tried to assume that it was Their invention. Ford, under the leadership of of Henry II, ignored the directive of Harry Ferguson, and went ahead and continued using the System on the 8N. A lawsuit followed ,initiated by Ferguson, and wasn’t settled until August of 1952 at which time Ford was ordered to stop production of the 8N. Ford also had to pay for the Patent infringement. After the merger of Massey Harris and Ferguson in 1953, The System was put on existing Massey Harris Tractors. However, They lacked Draft Control because of the Tractor design and, were no better than buying a kit from a Farm and Fleet Store and putting it on other Tractors of the Time. Fergieman
Thanks for the extra history. Very good to know the extra details
We are using Diesel Engine Dorman 8QT Our Turbo Charger is malfunctioning, could you please tell the model of Turbo Charge ????
I have no idea. Its just the standard new holland engine
We have the same Engine Dorman 8QT Our Turbo Charger is malfunctioning, could you please tell the model of Turbo Charge ????
Oh I see now. I'm confident it's a garrett
Привезите его в Россию!
I'll get it on a ferry! 😂
Is that a Norfolk mountain we can see behind the tractor ?
Part of the sea defence in the Marsh. Great views from there
Think a tripod might help. 🤔 How many tines on the subsoiler. ?
Think I need one for sure. Tractors pulling 3 winged legs with 5 adjustable cultivators. It's a really nice easy set up that's good for leveling out
Good luck with your newest bit.😊
Thank you! Hope you come back and see how we get on 😃
No ploughing, I would go straight in with the Combi drill by look of it 🤙👍🤙👍
Thanks for the comment. I know what I'm doing this weekend!
Hi Lewis Nice job Thanks again
No problem. Thanks for your support
Lewis the water runs from the road to the ditch in the corner
That makes sense
Chrome stack, LED's and twin beacons!! You know it makes sense 😉🤣
That'll make it go even faster!
